The quickest of updates from Korea

All I want to say is that I have a newfound appreciation for Korean romantic comedies. I'm not sure how to reconcile that with only speaking Chinese for the next year, but I may have to find a way to do it.

Currently in Korea. Slightly concerned about potential quarantine/program postponement. More fun to come.

  1. One of the most popular in the past few years in China came from Korea. The Korean Dae Jang-Geum, a drama detailing the first female court physician of Korea, caught like wildfire across the continent and ended up going around the world (even showing up when I Was working in Ghana).

Modern Korean dramas are decent parallels to Chinese ones, because they have a whimsical feel to them that is in sharp contrast to a soap opera.
